1. Bringing together and uniting Urdu journalists from across the state on one platform and striving for their welfare, redress of complaints, and fighting for their rights.
2. Conducting training classes, from time to time, to increase the professional capabilities and competence of Urdu journalists, and aligning them with modern technology and digitalization.
3. To give awards to encourage journalists, to provide financial assistance to the families of ailing journalists and deceased journalists; to seek financial support from government, semi-government, and private institutions; and help from philanthropists for other programs.
4. To start a short-term journalism course for Urdu print, electronic, and digital media in the future with the cooperation of other institutions.
5. Trying to increase the number of Urdu-newspaper readers.
6. Conference on the issues of journalists, round-table conference, dialogue, and representation to government and officials on issues of journalists.
7. Organizing discussions on international, national and state issues and other topics.
8. Conduct awareness programs on Muslim issues and holding programs on other such issues.
9. Conducting 'Meet the Press' programs.
10. Organising literary gatherings for the development, promotion and propagation of Urdu language; Essay-writing, Speech, Poetry competitions for students; Conducting seminars, symposiums, talks and other programs.
11. Working with like-minded national and state organizations.
